my loves
fun in the sun
I met my sweet friend Cathy and her family earlier this week. They were vacationing in Destin, Florida, where the beaches were gorgeous but on this particular day, filled with lots of jellyfish. We had a nice time chatting while I snapped away and waited for the sun to hide behind the clouds.
Isn’t her family beautiful?
I did a vintage wash, water-colory process to this one.

The boys -
second time was a charm
all boy
Mac greeted me at the door with the sweetest, wettest kiss! I felt so incredibly special. I’m not certain, but I think he must have remembered me since I’ve been photographing him since he was born.
Not only did he give me kisses but he also shared some yummy tree bark with me out in his backyard. It’s so fun to be a kid photographer - I get to interact with kids of all ages, watch their expressions, observe how they play, then go home and see what I captured!
These special boots belonged to his great-grandfather.
And here’s a shot from a year ago when he was just a few weeks old.
a special prayer request
We returned from vacation Saturday and heard that a friend from church delivered a sweet baby girl at 23 weeks. Here is her blog http://leahkillingsworth.blogspot.com/ Please keep this family in your constant prayers. Little Laurie has remained so strong and God has answered many prayers that have been said for her. The Bible says to pray without ceasing and that’s what the Killingsworth family needs right now.
I’m on my way out to take some pictures of a one year old this afternoon so be on the lookout for his sneak peek later this week. I’ve been taking his pictures since he was born, although I haven’t seen him since Christmas. I can’t wait to see how big he’s gotten!
